Blue Cross of Georgia is relaxing their underwriting in some key areas. Some of the changes include:
- Relaxed rules for treatment of anxiety & depression including suicide attempts or inpatient psych treatment
- New rules for GERD and related illness
- New guidelines for gestational diabetes and acne
- New tobacco guidelines
- Plavix is no longer on the denial list
