Time is running out to find affordable children's health insurance in Georgia. Currently there are only a handful of health insurance companies are offering "child only" health insurance and one more is about to bite the dust.
HumanaOne announced they will stop writing child only health insurance plans in mid August due to mandates contained in Obamacare. You can still get quotes and apply for insurance with Humana, but only for a few more days.
Blue Cross of Georgia (BCBSGA) will no longer quote ANY children's health insurance after 8/14/2010.
All health insurance companies will be charging much higher premiums for children's plans issued after 9/23/1010.
You can still quote and apply for HumanaOne and BCBSGA but time is running out.
