Cigna and Aetna have released 4th quarter Georgia health insurance rates. The Obamacare influence is being felt as children's health insurance rates are beginning the upward climb.
Rates for children under the age of 1 have increased by 65%. Health insurance rates for children between 1 and 19 have increased roughly 25%.
Neither health insurance company will write child only health insurance plans. Any health insurance application for children under the age of 19 must include at least one parent.
Blue Cross is expected to release their rates in about a week.
