If you have not read the Sunday Paper report by Stephanie Ramage, you owe it to yourself to take some time to learn about how the APD brutalizes their wounded veterans.
Stephanie follows the trials and troubles of 5 former officers in APD who put their life on the line to protect us and were seriously wounded in the process. The workers comp program is managed by Mickey Walker and, according to the article, it is Walker who gives the thumbs up or thumbs down on things like pain medication, wheelchair repairs, oxygen tanks and more.
This is a disgrace and this practice needs to get the light of day.
