Most health insurance applications, including STM (short term medical) ask a range of health questions, including height & weight. If you are over their prescribed limits your application is rejected.
For some time now we have used a health insurance product that is a TRUE short term major medical, not a discount plan or limited benefit plan. This STM does not ask height or weight questions making it ideal for those who battle with their weight.
This product will be taken off the market at the end of this month. You can still apply for coverage to be effective up to 11/30/2010.
