- Expanding the number of "free" preventive care benefits means higher health insurance premiums
Individual health insurance premiums are increasing even more, again, due in part to Obamacrap.
- Covering children under age 19 regardless of pre-existing medical condition is cost prohibitive
- People who were covered under group health insurance or COBRA are generally sicker than the normal population
- As the economy suffers, healthy people drop their health insurance while sick people keep it
- Losing premiums on healthy people and only insuring sick people puts tremendous pressure on premiums
- New applicants, especially those on group insurance, take more prescription drugs than the general population
- New applicants over the last few months take more med's and are heavier
- Mandates requiring "free" preventive care means higher health insurance premiums
- Higher costs associated with Obamacrap compliance means higher premiums
And the circle goes round and round.
All this can be summed in in two things.
The economy and Obamacrap.
When the economy recovers premiums should moderate more than they are now.
When Obamacrap is repealed premiums will become more moderate.
