Filtered Vodka

This doesn’t rank with turning water into wine, but it can save money for those who have a taste for vodka.

The biggest difference in an inexpensive vodka, such as Smirnoff and a premium brand, like Grey Goose, is the filtering. Premium vodka’s are filtered several times before bottling compared to the lower priced brands.

So if you have champagne tastes and a beer budget, here is something you can do.

Use a filtering pitcher, such as Brita, pour the low priced vodka into the top and allow it to drip through the filter. Repeat this process three times, returning the final product into the original bottle.

Or, if you prefer, put in in a premium bottle.

Drink responsibly.
